These wonderful people!
There's always this thrill that I get from watching people interact. The best thing about the youth in my classes is that they're laughing-constantly. The way their eyes sparkle, corners of their mouths lift up in a silly, heart-warming grin, or how some may shy away but still look up from their desk.
Some of my collegues here seem to find my teaching techniques-quite frankly-non existant. They find my classes are the ones students choose because they're 'easy for a grade'. Not true. The reason why a student-excuse me, peer-would choose to have a class with me is simply because it interested them. I mean, really, if you enjoy a class, who says it's going to be hard? If you like what you're doing, then it doesn't matter the amount of work. But that's just one faun's argument against the world. And who's to say a goat-legged fellow like myself will make a difference in the teaching community?
No matter. I'll just focus on the subject at hand (the lack of creative writing papers on my peers' part), and go shopping.
Cheerio, bookio. You always know best!
