"What?" Penelope stood up, staring Marx down. "What sort of story is that? You promised something interesting! You put poor Weiss through all those memories, and now you leave us hanging?"
"He gave me my keys back..."
"Don't defend him, for heaven's sake! Don't you have any sort of ideals, any pride, any spine? I aught to teach you both a-"
The bell rang, and all of the students got up, crowding the door in their rush to leave. Weiss grabbed his backpack and got behind the great mass of people at the door, silently cursing their idiocy. Penelope gave Marx a final glare, then gathered her things and waited next to Weiss. After a few moments, they were able to push through the door and enter the hallway, each heading to their next class.
Excitable girl, thought Weiss after they parted ways. I think I'm going to have to stay out of her way...

Your first assignment for Attack and Evade 101, and Weaponology, will be to select a material weapon of your choice.
Give three examples or more on how the weapon is used in combat, and give a demonstration for each to the class. Give pros and cons. Be sure to explain how the weapon works. The structure, how it can be taken apart, and for the more inventive--how it could be improved.
Examples of weapons: -Guns (pistols, shotguns, rifles) -Knives (hunting, throwing, pocket) -Explosives (no hydro or atomic. Molotov cocktails, land mines, and fireworks are acceptable) -Vehicles (cars, trucks, semi-trucks, buses, tanks) Anything can be used as a weapon in any given situation. Being resourceful is a part of defending yourself, so you don't have to use any of the above mentioned.

"Of course! Here you go!"
He threw back the keys.
"Now I guess you want my part of the bargain... My story? Well, it has yet to be written... Interesting enough for you? I suppose it should hold you over until the end of my days..."

OK, life is real. Life can deter the flow of creativity and mess up your 'virtual' schedule such as posting on an RPG forum.
But it's rather frustrating when someone starts or replies to a thread, and never touches it again, leaving those involved with nothing. This is one of the reasons why we have down times here. So a new general rule is, if you don't have time to commit to a thread, then don't post on it! Or if you know you'll be away for a few days, make sure you make a SMALL note of it on a regular post...or make the announcement here on the EVERYTHING section so at least there's record of your statement.
Also remember the goal for 500 words per formal post. We're writers, we challenge ourselves...and really, 500 words ain't so long.
